Every child deserves someone speaking up for them regardless of their background. Many of the students within the school system don't have the support that is needed to just get through the day sometimes. Do you know what it's like to be hungry and without basic needs? These are things that our kids face daily and until you understand what background every child comes from then you can't help them to be the great kids that they want to be. I believe that those who are most affected by the decisions made for our children should have a say in the decision-making process. We have to get back to putting the focus on all children and making sure that they have what is needed to become successful.
